Instructions:

You can deliver your designs or logo in at least 300 dpi. Do you wish to receive a template in order to make a design on it, send us an email, we will send you the template for the relevant catering box. Logos should be delivered in .EPS or .Al files and colour numbers in PMS if you have any.

Designs or proof sheets will only be made at an actual order. Via www.wetransfer.com you can deliver us your files and send it to our email address [email protected] and please put your order number in the subject. Via the same website we will send you the proof sheets of the final design before we print the box. The delivery time of these food containers starts from the moment of approval of the final proof sheets sent by us.

Printed cardboard catering boxes or food containers

Many caterers use them, catering boxes or food containers. The catering trays that we also offer in our web shop, fit in these convenient catering boxes. You can choose from an octagonal shaped tray, an aluminium tray or a square shaped tray that completely fill the box. Therefore, the combination of the catering trays and the catering boxes are ideal for sandwiches, snacks, amuse-bouche or salads. The catering boxes are robust and solid. They can also be produced with a window. This window is made out of PLA material, which is produced out of corn and thus, completely biodegradable. Because of our experience in the printed packaging world, we have chosen for a top quality catering box. The boxes are available to be fully printed on the top up to a full-colour print. Delivery Times & Proof sheets

Before we actually print the catering boxes, we will send you an example in PDF (proof sheet) that you could judge on accuracy. In this way, you will always know up front whether your design will correctly be printed on the boxes. After approval of the final proof sheets that we have sent you, the delivery time is about 5-7 weeks. Depending on the period of the year, delivery times could increase

Quality & Sizes

Quality: The catering boxes are produced in 3 different sizes. Per size, a different thickness of cardboard is used.

- The smallest size is the box of 35x25x8cm and is produced on 345 grammes solid cardboard and has been stuck together on 6 spots of the box. This means that the box is easily put up, without folding it. Very convenient! In case the box is produced with a window, this window is made out of PLA material with a thickness of 38mu.

- The medium size is the box of 46x31x8cm and is produced on 425 grammes solid cardboard and has been stuck together on 6 spots of the box. This means that the box is easily put up, without folding it. Very convenient! In case the box is produced with a window, this window is made out of PLA material with a thickness of 38mu.

- The largest size is the box of 55x37,5x8cm and consist of a loose bottom and loose top. The bottom is produced on 500 grams solid cardboard and the top on 345 grammes. It has been stuck together on 4 spots of the box. This means that the box is easily put up, without folding it. Very convenient! In case the box is produced with a window, this window is made out of PLA material with a thickness of 38mu.

Printing colours and plate costs: The colours that can be printed on the boxes are PMS colours. You can provide us with these colours or logo yourself and we will search for a fitting colour. In case you have PMS colours, we will use these colours. Up front, all catering boxes will be printed without logos and it is entirely up to you to create your own layout. Every colour can be dithered, this means that with the use of a colour, a lower percentage of ink is used. For example: You wish to print 2 colours of blue. The most attractive thing to do is to use 2 full PMS colours, however, you can also use the same colour and only print it for 50%. On the boxes, you will see a fine grid and the colour looks a little lighter This is an easy way to print other shades with only 1 colour. The plate costs of the catering boxes are free of charge.
