From 5 January 2023, a new law will come into place that will impose a compulsory contribution waste management tax on a number of products. (See our info page "Single Use Plastics" which can be found at the bottom of the website). From 1 July 2023, it will be mandatory to charge a contribution on all plastic packaging for immediate consumption or "To Go". This contribution is required by law and is intended to reduce litter. You may set the amount of this contribution yourself. You are free to charge this waste management tax already.
